Let's Talk Legs!

Every woman I have ever worked with wants cellulite-free, slim-and-trim thighs! Do you? Well, you can have them, whatever your age. But first, let's talk about how you got the fat, the flab and the cellulite thighs to begin with, because in order to solve a problem, first we need to know how it was created!

Almost all of the fat you eat every day goes directly to the area between your waist and knees; all the fried chicken, fried oyster, prime rib, sausage, pork chops, ice cream and cheese, to name a few. Unless you are a seasoned athlete, the fat from the fatty foods you eat never leaves your body. Instead, it accumulates. Also, if you eat a high fat diet, you probably drink very little water, and if so, your dehydrated body has another reason to be stuck with the fat. Without the water, it cannot metabolize FAT.

Now, to the daily fat intake and lack of water, add sitting. Sitting in the car, sitting at lunch or dinner, sitting at the movies, sitting behind a desk, and you have the perfect formula for fat thighs and cellulite: fatty diet, inactivity, dehydration.

You probably have read or heard that a certain body cream or body wrap will reduce cellulite. Don't waste your money! You probably also heard that you have to live with fat thighs and cellulite because there's nothing you can do about it. Don't believe that either!

You have never seen cellulite on a professional female body builder, regardless of her age, have you? Know why? They eat low-fat, therefore, have very little body fat, have developed their muscles through weight training, drink lots of water, and do lots of aerobic exercise. Compared to a professional female body builder, I do moderate weight training, yet my legs look better now at age 59 than when I started at age 46. Conditioning has nothing to do with age.

I made a decision 14 years ago to stop eating FAT, not just because I wanted slim thighs, but because I wanted a lean, healthy body. So can YOU! Once and for all, DO IT FOR YOURSELF! YOU DESERVE IT! Once you make the decision to cut out the fat and drink the water, the rest is easy: weight training and aerobic exercise.

I just read an unfortunate statistic that says that the main reason preventing most people from being their best is not money or time, but that they think they are not worth it! Well, don't do it just to be beautiful - which you DO deserve. Do it for your overall health and happiness! Or for your loved ones. Or to set an example for your daughter. If you are 20 years old and start NOW, you can prevent fatty, flabby thighs and cellulite. And, if you are 60 years old and start now, by the time your 61st birthday comes around, your legs will look better than they did when you were 60!
